What transport options are available in the area?
There are a few taxi services and ubers around but there are not many so best not to rely on them.
What time is the wedding?
We have not locked in the exact ceremony start time yet but it is likely to be around 5pm. The reception will commence at 6pm and end at 11pm.
What should I wear?
The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail, the bridal party will be wearing a burgundy-red. The ceremony will be in a grassed area and the reception will be indoors. The venues are about a three minute walk from each other and the route is fully paved. If you’re unsure about your outfit, feel free to check in but we’re sure you’ll pick something great!
Where do I park?
There is a small car park near the ceremony venue and plenty of additional parking at the Busselton foreshore which is a short walk from the ceremony and reception venues. We will provide maps closer to the time.
What is the RSVP deadline?
Sunday September 26, 2027. If you need to change your RSVP after this date due to unavoidable circumstances, please let Filip/Ally know.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony is outdoors in a grassed courtyard and the reception will be indoors.
What is typical weather in Busselton in early November?
Early November in Busselton brings mild to warm, generally sunny spring weather as the region moves into Kambarang (the Noongar season of wildflower blooms and rising warmth). There is a gentle sea breeze and it does get cool at night so we would recommend bringing a light jacket.
Can I bring my child/children?
Children who are in the bridal party or whose family has travelled interstate or internationally to attend the ceremony are welcome to attend.
Can I bring a +1?
Please check with Filip or Ally prior to RSVPing before including any +1s. The names of all invited guests will be listed on your invitation envelope.
Will there be an open bar?
There will be a bar tab but once this runs out the venue will convert to a cash bar. Drink options on the bar tab will likely be limited to beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks but you are welcome to purchase other drinks at any time.
What will the food be like?
The reception will be cocktail style. Please advise of any dietary requirements when completing your RSVP form. While actual dishes may vary, you can see a sample menu for the reception venue, Shelter Brewing Co. below.
